Section 6: Certification Process
1.Manufacturers or agents submit an initial verbal or written application to the certification company.
2.Applicant completes the application form and submits it, along with the product's user manual and technical documents, to the certification company (a prototype may also be required from the applicant company, if necessary).
3.Certification company drafts the proposal and provides a quotation.
4.Applicant confirms the quote, returns the quotation sheet, and sends samples along with relevant technical documents to the certification company.
5.Applicant provides technical documents.
6.The certification company issues a billing notice to the applicant, who is then required to prepay the certification fee as per the billing notice.
7.The certification company reviews technical documents and organizes relevant certification activities.
8.If technical documents are incomplete or not in the specified language, the certification company will notify the applicant to make improvements.
9.If the test is不合格, the certification company will promptly notify the applicant and decide, based on the situation, whether to suspend the project, allowing the applicant to improve the product. The applicant should modify the technical data from the original application to reflect the actual situation after the changes.
10.The involved rectification costs will be subject to a supplementary billing notice issued by the certification company to the applicant.
11.Applicant is required to pay the rectification fee as per the supplementary charge notification.
12.The certification company provides the applicant with a test report or technical documents, as well asVCCICompliance Certificate.
