I. Standard
Company standards, equivalent to GB12666.6 and National Standard GB/T12706-2002.
Part II: Usage
This product is suitable for various applications including plastic insulated power cables rated at 0.6/1KV and below, as well as electrical equipment cables rated at 450/750V and below. It is particularly suitable for circuits in fire-resistant requirements such as transmission and distribution, control, alarm, and fire protection systems.
Section 3: Characteristics of Fire-Resistant Cables
1. Long-term working temperature for conductors: XLPE insulated - 90℃; PVC insulated: (Standard) 70℃, (High-temperature resistant) 105℃
2. Conductor Allowable Temperature During Short Circuit (5s): XLPE Insulation 250℃; PVC Insulation: 160℃
FourProduct Performance
The conductor of the fire-resistant electrical cables conforms to the GB/T3956 specifications.
2. Fire-resistant Insulation: Depending on the fire-resistant grade, we select either synthetic mica tape or gold mica tape. Class A fire-resistant cables use synthetic mica tape with a fire-resistant grade of 1000-1200℃; Class B fire-resistant cables use gold mica tape with a fire-resistant grade of 850-950℃.
3. The plastic insulation thickness of fire-resistant cables is the same as that of corresponding ordinary cables.
4. Outer Diameter of Fire-Resistant Cable: Due to the addition of fire-resistant insulation, the outer diameter of fire-resistant cables is slightly larger than that of the corresponding standard cables.
5. Fire-resistant cable current carrying capacity: The current carrying capacity of fire-resistant cables shall not be less than that of the corresponding standard cables.
