Sculpture ArtIt is a three-dimensional art form that exists in space. Form is its fundamental element, presented through visible and tangible three-dimensional shapes, either independently or integrated within space. Under the influence of light, the clear outline and sense of light define the form in a strikingly three-dimensional manner. However, the sculptural form of a mirror-polished stainless steel sculpture breaks this perception. Stainless steel is a widely used material in contemporary sculpture, known for its strength and malleability, and its corrosion-resistant properties make it ideal for long-term preservation, often used as a material for creation.
In terms of processing, it can be polished to a mirror finish, abraded to a sandpaper texture, and even colored. The mirror-like effect, unique among sculptural metal materials, when crafted into flat or distorted mirror finishes by stainless steel sculpture manufacturers, softens the sculpture's contours in space. The light's impact on it is diminished by environmental reflections, rendering it magically invisible within the spatial environment. Consequently, unlike sculptures made from other matte materials, it can present a variety of visual experiences under different perspectives, lightings, and environments. Manufacturing ProcessProduction Process
1. 3D Modeling:
Once production is confirmed, review the 3D product model to check if there are any necessary modifications in the overall appearance and design. This model can directly showcase the finished product's proportions and aesthetics. Communicate with the client after the initial modeling to discuss any needed changes, and continue to modify until the client is satisfied.
2. Print 3D Molds
Upon confirmation of the 3D modeling effect, we will print a 3D prototype for the customer to see the actual product in a smaller scale. Following this, we will produce 1:1 foam models, where the foam modelers will forge and敲打 stainless steel to number and block the product on the foam.
3. Stainless Steel Material Forging
Place the stainless steel sheet onto the mold, strike it on the spot, and unload according to the different shapes of the mold parts, striking intentionally with awareness of the undulations. Bend it, strike as you go, and you can strike any tangible, solid object. Then, place the struck stainless steel sheet onto the mold for comparison, and if the shape is deemed correct, it should close completely with the model. Next, weld the shaped stainless steel sheet from top to bottom, ensuring each connected plate is adjusted against the mold, and must be forged simultaneously during the molding process. Forging points can also be done before cutting the material. When forging the points, use the rounded end of the hammer head to forge uniformly and in a row, with consistent width, spacing, and force.
Welding Forming:
Welding, polishing, and painting. Once the forging shape is correct, welding is performed according to the job requirements (either electric arc or TIG welding). After welding and polishing, the flatness and smoothness of the焊接 area must be adjusted. Only when it is smooth and even can the next step of the work process be carried out.
5. Surface Painting/Polishing
Stainless steel polishing begins with using an abrasive wheel to smooth out welds and parts, followed by polishing with a soft abrasive wheel (cloth wheel). During polishing, apply polishing compound to enhance lubrication, resulting in a brighter finish and an aesthetically pleasing visual. Then, as per requirements, paint or proceed to the polishing process, and conduct a visual inspection for defects such as leakage welding, insufficient welding, uneven weld point depth, excessive deviation from the seam, localized dents, uneven joints, deep scratches, abrasions, or severe deformation that cannot be corrected during this process. If any of these defects are present, the item should be sent back to the previous process stage. If no such defects are found, proceed with the polishing operation. Polishing and finishing of stainless steel sculptures requires three steps: coarse grinding, semi-fine grinding, and fine grinding.
6. After-Sales Installation
Generally, it is焊接for strength, meaning the sculpture's frame is welded to the pre-buried iron on the base, and structural reinforcing bars are welded beneath the pre-buried iron, with the length of the reinforcing bars and the size of the pre-buried iron determined based on the sculpture's dimensions. For aesthetic purposes, after the environmental sculpture design is completed, the base is covered with marble or placed in a grassy area.

5. Customers with installation needs, upon receiving the balance and confirming the on-site installation conditions, arrange for delivery and installation.
