Colored asphalt, also known as colored binder.
It is a type of road construction material, made by adding color powder to colorless binder. The colorless binder can be obtained by decolorizing asphalt or mixed from light-colored polymers such as petroleum resin.
Color asphalt boasts distinct colors and stable chemical properties. It currently comes in several major color series, including red, green, yellow, and blue, and can be customized according to customer requirements.
Colored asphalt concrete pavement refers to the mixture of de-colored asphalt with various colored aggregates, pigments, and additives at specific temperatures to create a wide range of colored asphalt blends. These blends are then laid and compacted to form a pavement with certain strength and road performance, known as colored asphalt concrete pavement or simply colored asphalt pavement. It is widely used in landscape paving for traffic signposts, sidewalks, residential roads, parks, squares, parking lots, and other similar areas.
Performance Features
(1) Excellent road performance; maintains high-temperature stability, resistance to water damage, and durability under various temperatures and external conditions. No deformation or asphalt film peeling occurs, and it has good bonding with the subgrade.
(2) Vibrant and durable colors, fade-resistant, excellent high and low temperature stability, easy maintenance.
(3) Offers superior sound-absorbing capabilities; car tires rolling at high speeds on the road will not generate loud noise due to air compression, while also absorbing other external noises.
(4) Offers excellent elasticity and flexibility, providing a comfortable "foot feel." Particularly suitable for elderly individuals for walking, and boasts good anti-slip properties.
