UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

4. Provide CAD assembly drawings and UG assembly drawings; prepare BOM with 0 piece orders.

5. Comprehensive enhancement training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with instructors organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Courses:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Tutorial 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding

Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Face Milling: Know the applications, cutting methods, and main parameter settings for face milling.

2. Planer Milling: Know the application, classification, cutting methods for different workpieces, and the setting of main parameters, and master them.

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing operations on workpieces. Learn to choose the right tools wisely as the size of the workpiece varies. Cavity milling generally follows the peripheral cutting path, with focus on setting and mastering the main parameters.

4. Re-clearing the corners with the cavity milling: Mainly for processing the excess material left after roughing with the upper tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Equal Contour Milling: Often used for precision finishing on workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable tool based on the size of the R-angle at the bottom of the workpiece. Setting and mastering the main parameters, example explanations, and combined with topic exercises.

6. Curved Surface Milling: Commonly used for precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically employing ball-end mills for curved surface milling. Focuses on setting and mastering key parameters, with example problems and exercises related to the topic.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

III. Factory Case Studies:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples and practice, master the process and fixture of electrode processing, and pay attention to the specific points for processing special electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Molding Frame Processing: Proficient in molding frame processing techniques, experienced in handling large-scale molding frame processing.

3. Molding Core Machining: Understanding common molding core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of stock allowance before heat treatment for molding cores, and precautions when machining the mating surfaces of the front and back molding cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions for full mold machining, integrating the common processing flow of the factory and the department's processing flow.

5. Product Processing: Craft considerations and parameter settings during product processing.
