UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, fundamental mold knowledge, machining processes, basic steps for drawing assembly diagrams, and the application of CAD auxiliary modules.

2. Explanation of 3D software commands, product modeling, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standard explanation, and application of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, tilting cores, sliding cores, thread forming, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product reasonable modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD drawings of mold components, UG drawings of mold components, and prepare a BOM with 0 pieces ordered.

5. Comprehensive reinforcement training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with instructors organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Courses:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Instruction 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding Partition

II. Basic Applications of UG Machining Module:

1. Face Milling: Be aware of the application scenarios, cutting methods, and main parameter settings for face milling.

2. Flat Milling: Be aware of the applications, classifications, cutting methods for different workpieces, and the setting of main parameters.

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing operations on workpieces. Learn to choose the right cutting tools wisely as the size of the workpiece varies. Cavity milling typically follows a perimeter cutting approach, with emphasis on setting and mastering the main parameters.

4. Refining corner machining for mold cavity: Mainly focuses on processing the excess material left after the rough cutting with the first set of tools; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Equal Contour Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting the tool, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Main parameter settings and mastery, example explanation, and topic-related exercises.

6. Curved Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece surfaces. Generally, ball-end mills are chosen for curved milling. Focus on the setup and mastery of key parameters, with example problems and exercises related to the topic.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Case Study:

1. Electrode Processing: Learn and master the electrode processing and fixture procedures through multiple electrode instance demonstrations and practice. Pay attention to the key points for processing special electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Molding Frame Processing: Proficient in molding frame processing techniques, experienced in handling oversized molding frame processing.

3. Molding Core Machining: Understanding common molding core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of excess material before heat treatment for molding cores, and precautions when machining the mating surfaces of the front and back molding cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions during full mold machining, combining the common processing mold process in the factory and the processing department's process.

5. Product Processing: Craft considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

Completing the learning content in these stages, through full-time instruction, takes approximately three months. Upon finishing our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational processes and possess the experience equivalent to 2-3 years.
