I. Process Workflow
The spray water combines with wind in a complex manner, dividing into two streams: one cold stream enters vertically from above, and the other horizontally from the side. These streams exchange heat with the falling spray water through the packing, reducing the temperature of the spray water. The water droplets carried by the wind are deflected back by the side collector, falling into the lower water trough for recycling. Due to the thorough mixing of the spray water with the cold wind, cooling and temperature reduction occur, allowing the temperature to drop significantly, approaching the wet bulb temperature more closely.
