The cycloidal pinwheel reducer is a novel transmission device that utilizes the planetary gear transmission principle and employs cycloidal pin tooth meshing. The entire transmission of the cycloidal pinwheel reducer can be divided into three parts: the input section, the reduction section, and the output section. A double eccentric sleeve, offset by 180°, is mounted on the input shaft, and two cylindrical roller bearings, referred to as pivot arms, are installed on the eccentric sleeve. These form an H mechanism, with the center holes of the two cycloidal wheels serving as the raceways for the pivot arm bearings on the eccentric sleeve. They mesh with a set of ring-shaped arranged pins on the pin gear to form an internal reduction mechanism with a tooth difference of one tooth. (To reduce friction, pin sleeves are fitted on the pins in减速 machines with a lower speed ratio.)
Key Features
High gear ratio and efficiency
The transmission achieves a reduction ratio of 1:87, with efficiency exceeding 90%. Using multi-stage transmission further increases the reduction ratio.
Section 2: Compact Structure and Small Volume
Due to the use of planetary transmission principle, the input shaft and output shaft are aligned on the same shaft center, resulting in a compact structure and small size.
Section 3: Smooth operation with low noise
The involute pinion has a higher number of teeth, a larger overlap coefficient, and a mechanism for smooth components, which confines vibration and noise to a lesser extent.
Four: Reliable and long-lasting
Due to the use of bearing steel for the main components, which is heat treated (HRC58-62) for high strength, and the adoption of rolling friction for the transmission contact, the product is durable and has a long service life.
