CGM High-Strength Non-Shrink Grout

Grouting construction
Step 1: Basic Processing
The base surface should be roughened. Clean the base surface, ensuring there are no debris such as gravel, slurry, dust, oil stains, and release agents. The base surface should be thoroughly moistened 24 hours before grouting, and any standing water should be cleared 1 hour before grouting.
Step 2: Explore
1. Set up forms according to the grouting construction drawing. Seal the joints between forms and foundation, as well as between forms, using cement grout and tape to ensure the entire form set is watertight.
2. The horizontal distance around the template and base of the equipment should be maintained at about 100mm to facilitate grouting work.
3. The template top elevation should be 50mm higher than the surface of the equipment base.
4. If leakage occurs during grouting, it should be addressed promptly.
Step 3: Grout Mixture Preparation
Generally, add water and mix according to a standard of 13-14% for general reinforced type, and 9-10% for stone aggregate reinforced type.
2. Use mechanical stirring, which typically takes 1-2 minutes (drill mixer use is strictly prohibited). For manual stirring, first mix for 2 minutes with 2/3 of the water, then add the remaining water and stir until uniform.
3. The amount to stir each time should be determined based on the usage, ensuring the material is used up within 40 minutes.
4. Under no circumstances should any admixture or external additive be mixed with CGM grouting material during on-site use.
Step 4: Grouting Construction Method
1. For longer equipment or track foundations, segmented construction should be employed.

3. During the secondary grouting, the following requirements should be met.
1.1 During secondary grouting, the grout should be applied from multiple points on one side or adjacent sides until it overflows from the opposite side, to facilitate air release during the grouting process. Grouting from all four sides simultaneously is not allowed.
1.2 Once grouting begins, it must be conducted continuously without interruption, and the grouting time should be minimized as much as possible.
1.3 Vibration is strictly prohibited during grouting. If necessary, use a grouting booster to push CGM grouting material along the bottom of the grouting layer. It is strictly forbidden to push from the middle or upper part of the grouting layer to ensure the homogeneity of the grouting layer.
1.4 After the equipment foundation grouting is completed, cut at a 45-degree angle outward along the equipment edge 3-6 hours post-grouting (as shown in the image below) to prevent cracks from forming at the ends. If edge cutting is not possible, smooth the surface of the grouting layer with a trowel 3-6 hours after grouting.
When the thickness of the grouting layer exceeds 150mm, use reinforced coarse aggregate high-strength shrinkage-free grouting material.
1.6 When the base grouting volume of the equipment is large, mechanical mixing should be used for the agglomeration reinforcement grouting material to ensure the grouting construction.
Step 5: Maintenance
1. Immediately cover with wet straw or rock wool blankets within 30 minutes after grouting, and maintain moisture.
2. During winter construction, maintenance measures should also comply with the relevant provisions of the current >GB50204.
3. After the grouting material reaches the demolding time, the equipment installation can be carried out. Please refer to the "Demolding and Curing Time and Environmental Temperature Relationship Chart" for the specific time.
4. After the equipment foundation grouting is completed, if there is a need to remove any parts, they can be gently scraped off with a trowel or shovel tool within 3-6 hours after grouting, before the grout layer hardens.
5. Do not transmit vibrations from the running machine to the equipment foundation. After secondary grouting, the machine should be shut down for 24-36 hours to prevent damage to the unset grout layer.
