TPR Plastic Raw Material (Thermo-Plastic-Rubber) is an artificial thermoplastic elastomer that combines the properties of rubber and thermoplastic plastics. Thermoplastic elastomers can have various structures, with the fundamental one being at least two dispersed polymer phases. At normal operating temperatures, one phase is in a fluid state (making the temperature above its Tg-glass transition temperature), while the other is solid (making the temperature below its Tg or equal to Tg), with an interaction between the two phases. This means that at room temperature, it exhibits rubber elasticity, and at high temperatures, it can be塑化 molding. It possesses mechanical and service properties similar to rubber and can be processed and recycled like thermoplastic plastics, bridging the gap between plastics and rubber. Therefore, thermoplastic elastomers can be processed into rubber products as quickly, effectively, and economically as thermoplastic plastics. In terms of processing, it behaves like a plastic; in terms of properties, it acts like a rubber. Thermoplastic elastomers have many advantages over thermosetting rubbers. Currently, there is no unified naming for thermoplastic elastomers, and it is commonly abbreviated as TPR for thermoplastic rubber and TPE for thermoplastic elastomer, both of which are used in relevant literature.
