The PCB recycling and processing production line adopts a two-stage crushing method for waste PCBs, converting them into a mixture of metal and resin fiber powder; followed by a process route that separates the metal from the resin through wind and static separation. To prevent dust pollution during the processing, a pulse dust removal unit is added after the air flow separation stage, effectively resolving the dust pollution issue.
Operating Principle
The circuit board separation equipment utilizes electrostatic separation technology for metal sorting. The principle is to take advantage of the differences in material's conductivity. In a composite electric field combining a high-voltage corona discharge field and a high-voltage static electric field, under the influence of electrical and mechanical forces, it achieves the separation of materials. It enhances the attraction of the static electrode for conductors and the repulsion for non-conductors. A high-frequency alternating strong magnetic field is generated on the surface of the sorting magnetic roller. When conductive non-ferrous metals pass through the magnetic field, eddy currents are induced within them. These eddy currents produce a magnetic field opposite to the original field. Non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminum, etc.) are then repelled by the magnetic field's force and leap forward along their conveying direction, achieving separation from other non-metallic materials, thereby accomplishing the sorting goal. The main criterion for differentiation is the ratio of the material's conductivity and density; materials with a higher ratio are easier to separate.
