Wireless mice are computer mice that are not directly connected to the host by a cable, communicating with computers via wireless technology to eliminate the constraints of wires. They typically use various wireless communication methods, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11), Infrared (IrDA), and ZigBee (IEEE 802.15.4), among other wireless technology standards.
Wireless Mouse UKCA Certification.
UKCA marking, which pertains solely to the essential safety requirements for products that do not pose risks to human, animal, and product safety, rather than general quality requirements. The harmonized directive stipulates only the main requirements, with the general directive requiring standardization. Therefore, the accurate meaning is: the UKCA mark signifies a safety compliance mark, not a quality compliance mark. It constitutes the core "main requirements" of European directives. If a product is to be exported to the EU, it must undergo UKCA certification.
Regarding the UKCA marking:
The UKCA marking applies to most (but not all) products currently covered by the CE marking scheme.
2. The UKCA marking rules are essentially a copy of the EU's CE marking rules. That is: the UKCA marking is also based on the principle of manufacturer's declaration of conformity. Products that can be CE marked based on self-declaration can also be UKCA marked based on self-declaration. For products that require a third-party NB institution for CE marking, they must be certified by a UK institution to use the UKCA mark upon entering the UK.
3. UKCA marked products are only applicable to the UK market. Products currently requiring CE marking for entry into the EU market continue to use the CE marking.
4. The UKCA marking's usage rules are the same as those for the CE mark: namely, it must be affixed by the manufacturer or their representative to the product, be no smaller than 5 mm, and ensure clarity and visibility. It must be based on technical documentation and the UKDoC and must be readily available for presentation to authorities.
The UK will introduce its own new conformity marking, UKCA (representing UK Conformity Assessment), with all products currently within the CE marking scope to fall under the UKCA certification. The new mark (the standard style of UKCA) will replace the CE product marking used by the EU once approved by the British Parliament.
UKCA marking usage:
Most (but not all) products currently bearing the CE mark will be included in the new UKCA mark's scope.
2. The rules for using the new UKCA mark are identical to the current CE mark usage.
3. Should the UK leave the EU without reaching an agreement, a time-limited phase will be notified. Manufacturers can still use the CE mark for selling products in the UK market before the deadline of March 29, 2019, provided that the products have been produced and comply with xin.
4. If the manufacturer's product plan is subject to third-party conformity assessment by a UK conformity body and the documents have not been transferred to an EU recognized body, a UKCA mark is required for products entering the UK market after March 29, 2019.
