Electrical contact pressure gauges are widely used in industries such as oil, chemical, metallurgy, power stations, and machinery for measuring the pressure of various non-explosive fluid media. Typically, when paired with corresponding electrical devices (such as relays and inverters), these gauges enable automatic control and signaling (alarm) of the measured pressure of various gases and liquids.

The electrical contact pressure gauge consists of a measuring system, indicating system, magnetic-assisted electrical contact device, housing, adjusting device, and junction box (plug socket). Generally, electrical contact pressure gauges are used to measure the positive and negative pressures of gases and liquids that do not corrode copper and copper alloys. Stainless steel electrical contact pressure gauges are designed to measure the positive and negative pressures of gases and liquids that do not corrode stainless steel, and they send a signal when the pressure reaches a predetermined value, connecting the control circuit to achieve the purpose of automatic control and alarm.

The electrical contact pressure gauge operates by measuring the pressure of the medium acting on the spring tube within the measuring system, causing the end of the spring tube to produce a corresponding elastic deformation or displacement. This is then transmitted and amplified through a linkage and gear mechanism, with the measured value indicated on the dial by a fixed gear (including the contact). At the same time, when it contacts the set pointer's contact (upper or lower limit) at the moment of contact (open or close), it causes the circuit in the control system to be opened or closed, thereby achieving automatic control and alarm signaling.
