Welding Technology
The entire rod should be free of any cracks, weld leaks, continuous blow holes, undercutting, etc., with smooth and even weld seams, no unevenness or起伏, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.
2. Electrical Door
a. Electric doors are cut using plasma cutting.
b. The electrical door and the lamp body are seamlessly integrated; there are no welded protrusions at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.
c. Features reasonable operating space; electrical installation accessories included inside the door.
d. The gap between the door and rod should not exceed 1mm, with excellent waterproof performance.
e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system, it boasts excellent anti-theft capabilities. The fixing bolts require a non-standard tool for opening.
f. Electrical doors should have high interchangeability, with a reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electrical door accessories
g. A securely welded M8×30 bolt, visible from the bottom left inside the light pole work door, is hot-dip galvanized along with the light pole, used for connecting the cable's PE wire.
3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process
The surface should be treated with hot-dipped galvanizing for both internal and external surfaces, with a thickness of ≥75um in compliance with GB—／T13912－92 standard. The design lifespan should not be less than 30 years. The zinc-plated surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. After the hammering test, it should not peel or flake off. A zinc-plating inspection report is provided.
4. Powder Coating Process
Outdoor high-purity polyester powder should be used for powder coating, with white color available upon customer request. The plastic layer maintains stable quality, resists fading and peeling. It has strong adhesion, is resistant to intense UV rays, and suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The design lifespan exceeds 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, meeting the ASTMD3359-83 standard. Powder coating inspection reports are provided. Protective requirements for powder coating: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking or peeling. The surface is smooth and even, with consistent color.
5. Design Capabilities
a. Provide a rod loading calculation based on the lighting pole design drawing, as per the wind velocity tolerance.
b. The formed square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards in terms of strength and surface structure.
Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture from entering.
6. Verticality Inspection
After the lamp post is erected by the street light manufacturer, a theodolite is used to check the verticality between the lamp post and the horizontal plane, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.
7. Rod appearance
The design and dimensions meet requirements, with an overall elegant and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and consistent, with even coloration. The zinc coating is smooth and flat, and the powder coating adheres strongly without peeling off.
All fixed bolts, nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).
9. The cable passage inside the lamp post is unobstructed, easy to thread cables through, and free of sharp edges, burrs, teeth, or similar features to prevent damage to the cable.
10. The lighting pole meets lightning protection and grounding requirements, with an environmental temperature of -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed of 60 m/s; seismic resistance of 8; and corrosion resistance of 30 years.
Category and Applicable Range:
Monitored poles, also known as camera light poles, typically come in Y, T, and R shapes. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, shaped into octagonal or hexagonal forms by large bending machines, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanizing for corrosion resistance and then coated with plastic. They are suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.
1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal poles and sign posts should consist of a vertical post, connecting flange, shaped support arm, mounting flange, and pre-buried steel structure.
2. The upright or transverse support arm is made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection end of the upright and transverse support arm uses steel pipe identical to the transverse arm, with a reinforced plate for welding protection; the upright is connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-buried bolt, with a reinforced plate for welding protection; the connection method between the transverse support arm and the upright end uses a flange connection, with a reinforced plate for welding protection.
3. All welding joints on the upright and its main components must meet the standard requirements, with a smooth and even surface, ensuring flat, smooth, strong and reliable welding, free from defects such as air holes, slag, cold joints, and incomplete welds.
4. The uprights and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting fixtures form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.
5. The upright poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.
6. Wind resistance: 45 kg/m²/h.
7. Surface Treatment: Pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating.
