Welding Technology
The entire rod should be free of any cracks, weld leaks, continuous blow holes, burrs, etc., with smooth and even weld seams, no unevenness, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.
2. Electrical Door
a. Electrical doors are cut using plasma cutting.
b. The electrical door and lamp body are seamlessly integrated, with no welded bosses at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.
c. Features adequate operating space; door includes electrical installation accessories.
d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1 millimeter and should have good waterproof performance.
e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system and excellent anti-theft features, the fixed bolts require a non-standard tool for opening.
f. Electrical doors should have high interchangeability, with reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% electrical door accessories
g. A securely welded M8x30 bolt, visible to the left and below the lamp pole's working door, undergoes hot galvanizing along with the pole itself, for connecting the cable's PE wire.
3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process
The surface should be treated with hot-dip galvanizing to prevent corrosion, with a thickness of ≥75um meeting the GB—/T13912-92 standard. The design life should not be less than 30 years. The zinc-plated surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. After hammering tests, it should not peel or flake off. A zinc coating inspection report is provided.
4. Powder Coating Process
Powder coating should be used with outdoor high-purity polyester powder, color white (subject to customer's requirements), with stable coating quality, non-fading, and non-peeling. It has strong adhesion, resistant to intense sun UV rays, and suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The design life is over 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, in compliance with ASTMD3359-83 standard. Provide powder coating inspection reports. Powder coating protection requirements: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking, and non-peeling. Surface should be smooth and even, with consistent color.
5. Design Capabilities
a. Provide a rod loading calculation based on the design of the lighting pole, as per the required wind speed tolerance.
b. The shaped square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards for strength and surface structure.
Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture from entering.
6. Verticality Inspection
After the lamp pole is erected by the street light manufacturer, a theodolite is used to check the perpendicularity between the pole and the horizontal, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.
7. Rod appearance
The design and dimensions meet requirements, presenting an overall elegant and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and uniform in color. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, with a strong adhesive spray coating that does not peel off.
All fixed bolts and nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).
9. The cable routing channel inside the pole is unobstructed, making it easy to thread cables. It lacks sharp edges, burrs, teeth, and similar features to prevent damage to the cable wires.
10. The lamp post meets lightning protection and grounding requirements; 2. Environmental temperature: -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed: 60 m/s; seismic resistance: 8 levels; corrosion resistance: 30 years.
Categories and Application Scope:
Monitors poles, also known as camera light poles, typically come in Y, T, or R shapes. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, processed into an octagonal or hexagonal shape by a large bending machine, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is coated with hot-dipped galvanized anti-corrosion treatment and painted for external use, suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.
1. Basic Structure: Traffic road signal poles and sign poles should consist of upright posts, connecting flanges, shaped support arms, mounting flanges, and pre-buried steel structures.
2. The upright or cross arm is made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection end of the upright with the cross arm uses steel pipe identical to the cross arm, with a welding reinforcing plate for protection; the upright is connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-b埋 bolt, with a welding reinforcing plate for protection; the connection method between the cross arm and the upright end is a flange connection, with a welding reinforcing plate for protection.

4. The poles and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.
