II. Terms of Use
(1) New Railway
High-speed railway with a design speed of 200 km/h or more utilizes 2.2m high reinforced concrete guardrails with a 0.5m roll of barbed wire; for railway with a design speed below 200 km/h, typically 1.8m high reinforced concrete guardrails are used.
(2) Ongoing Railway Construction Project
High-speed rail sections with a design speed of 200 km/h or more, installed with metal protective fences, shall have barbed wire rolls added to the outer side; sections without rail isolation fence metal mesh shall be set according to the standards of new railway projects, with the protective fence to be placed within 0.5 meters of the land boundary.
(3) Existing railway reconstruction projects
Section 3: This section primarily introduces reinforced concrete column metal mesh security fence.
Reinforced concrete pillars and metal mesh protection fences consist of pillars, mesh panels, and connecting parts, with a protection height of 1.8 meters.
(1) Pillar
The pillars are prefabricated from C30 reinforced concrete, with a cross-sectional size of 120mm x 120mm and a height of 2.2m. During the prefabrication, a square hole measuring 42mm x 42mm with a depth of 150mm is left at the center top. During installation, a 40mm x 40mm square tube with a thickness of 2.5mm, fitted with a connecting plate and a seal, is inserted into the hole, and sealed gaps are filled with waterproofing material. The inserted end of the short tube is 150mm long, with an outwardly folded 30° angle, and a vertical height of 300mm. Three 12mm circular holes are pre-drilled at the corresponding positions on the pillar, which are then secured during installation using bolts to fix the side connecting plates.
(2) Metal Mesh Sheets
Metal mesh panels are constructed with Q235 short tube frames, 30mm x 50mm in size, with a tube thickness of 2.0mm. The internal wire mesh is made of HPB300 6.5mm high tensile steel wire, cold drawn, in 75mm x 150mm dimensions. The top is folded outward at a 30° angle, with a vertical height of 300mm.
(3) Connector plate and bolt
Pole connecting plate, mesh connecting plate with 90° bend, Q235 steel plate, thickness 4.0mm, available in three types (A, B, C) based on different installation positions.
The connecting plate and bolts are made of Q235 steel and galvanized, with a zinc coating weight of 270g/㎡.
(4) Basic
The foundation for protective fences should be designed based on regional wind pressure, soil (rock) conditions, freezing depth, and impact resistance requirements, while adjusting the dimensions reasonably to ensure the stability of the protective fence.
During the insertion of the posts, strict control over the position is required. After positioning, use C25 concrete for casting, ensuring that the posts do not shift longitudinally or laterally and remain vertically upright. The support posts may be removed only after the base concrete reaches 70% of its designed strength.
(5) Gate阑珊
Gates are set up according to the needs of work and electrical equipment inspection and maintenance operations.
The reinforced concrete pillar metal mesh protection fence is available in two door options: single door and double door. The single door width is 1.5m, and the double door width is 3m. The mesh style is consistent with the protection fence, and it is connected to the pillar via pins and pin sleeves.
Set "No Entry" warning signs during the prefabrication of the pillars. The door should be locked and waterproof.
(6) Transportation and Installation
Posts, top and bottom rails, and column caps should be protected during transportation with measures such as adding straw mats,稻草, sawdust, or other shock-absorbing materials. The stacking height should not exceed five layers vertically and the height should not exceed 600mm. Metal mesh panels and connecting components should be effectively packaged to prevent dings. Reinforced concrete panels should be arranged vertically with shock-absorbing materials in between to prevent dings.
