1. Installation Foundation & Environment

Installation Environment

◆ The crew should avoid approaching fire sources and flammable materials. When installed alongside heat sources such as boilers, sufficient attention should be paid to the effects of heat radiation.
Select a location with room temperature below 45°C and good ventilation. Outdoor or open-air installation and storage are prohibited, as well as installation in environments with corrosive gases.
Choose a location with minimal dust.
The site should have good natural lighting for maintenance and inspection.
◆ To meet the needs for maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of the heat exchange tubes in evaporators and condensers, there must be sufficient tube removal space on either end of the unit, which should be comparable in length to the evaporator and condenser of the unit.
◆ For easy machinery lifting and maintenance, adequate space for installation, operation, and repair of the unit should be provided.
The equipment and the entire room should be fully drainable.

Gree Central Air Conditioning – Installation Foundation

The installation foundation for the unit must be made of concrete or steel structure, capable of supporting the operating weight of the machine, and the upper surface must be level. A drainage channel should be reserved for the installation foundation of the unit.
Refer to the installation foundation diagram of the reference unit and accurately place it on the foundation.
◆ Steel plates and vibration-damping pads are to be installed and seated together with the anchor bolts before secondary grouting. The anchor bolts are typically installed with about 100mm protruding above the installation surface.

Leave space for equipment installation and operation.

(2) The installation location of the unit should ensure that the machine is protected from direct sunlight and rain; it should be as free as possible from the effects of fire, flammable materials, corrosive gases, or exhaust fumes; ventilation space should be provided; appropriate measures should be taken to minimize noise and vibration as much as possible.

(1) General Principles

All on-site supplied cables, equipment, and wiring, as well as cable joints and equipment, must comply with various regulations and engineering requirements for use.
All on-site wiring connections must be performed by a licensed electrician.
◇Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding with wiring work.
◇Installer is responsible for any damage caused by incorrect connections of external wiring of the unit.

(2) Power cable connection to the control box of the pump assembly

The external power distribution cabinet must be equipped with circuit breakers to disconnect the power supply to the control box of the unit.
The power cable must be routed through conduits or cable trays.
◇When connecting power cables to the electrical control box of the unit, rubber or plastic protection must be used to prevent scratching from the sheet metal edges.
The power cables near the electrical control box must be securely fastened to prevent any external force from affecting the power terminal board of the electrical control box.
◇ Must be properly grounded.
