D606 brake pad steel back is mainly used for securing the friction material, facilitating installation in the braking system. The steel back is one component of the brake pad. Currently, disc brakes are widely used in the market, and almost all disc brake pads have high-intensity friction materials sintered onto a steel plate. These materials are freely movable within the caliper under the push of the brake fluid cylinder. As this steel plate is positioned behind the friction plate, it is commonly referred to as the steel back.
