The process principle of roller extrusion granulation:
Dry materials agglomerate into dense and hard lumps (pucks) under pressure, a process known as extrusion; these pucks are then crushed and sifted into granular material, a process called granulation. The purpose of extrusion is twofold: to expel air between particles and to bring the particles close enough together. The granules produced by extrusion granulation primarily rely on intermolecular forces.
Particle strength formed by the action force.
