The residential gate system is a specialized equipment for managing the entry and exit of motor vehicle traffic on roads, now widely used at highway toll gates, parking lots, residential communities, and corporate entrances to handle vehicle in and out. Electric gates can be operated independently via remote control to raise or lower the barrier arm, or can be actively managed through a parking management system (i.e., an IC card system). Depending on the application of the gate, the barrier arm can be straight, 90-degree curved, 180-degree folding, or a gate.
When a vehicle passes through the ground induction loop, an inductive signal is transmitted to the vehicle detector. The vehicle detector then activates two relay signals: one for the entry into the ground induction loop and another for the exit. Each set includes both normally open and normally closed signals. Additionally, the barrier gate typically has a ground induction infrared input interface. Under normal circumstances, the vehicle detection signal is connected to the ground induction infrared interface. The barrier gate opens when a vehicle approaches and a card is swiped, and it closes automatically when the vehicle passes. However, if the supplier's product lacks a ground induction infrared interface, or if the interface is damaged, or if the new vehicle detector and ground induction infrared interface are not compatible, they connect the two signals of the vehicle detector to the barrier gate's open and close ports. This still ensures the barrier gate closes automatically when the vehicle passes and prevents the gate from opening when the vehicle touches the ground induction loop. The only drawback is that the barrier gate may open if the vehicle rolls over the ground induction loop. Another situation is when there is an issue with the barrier gate control board or the card swipe main board, primarily determined by how the现场 lines are connected.
