The residential barrier gate system is a specialized equipment for controlling the entry and exit of motor vehicles on roads, now widely used at highway toll stations, parking lots, residential areas, and corporate entrances for vehicle management. Electric barrier gates can be operated independently with remote controls to raise or lower the arms, and can also be activated passively through the parking management system (i.e., IC card access system). Depending on the application of the barrier gate, its arms can be straight, 90-degree curved, 180-degree folding, or grille-style.
When a vehicle passes through the ground induction loop, it transmits an inductive signal to the vehicle detector. The vehicle detector then announces two relay signals: one for entering the induction loop and another for exiting. Each set includes both normally open and normally closed signals. Additionally, the barrier gate typically has a ground induction infrared input interface. Normally, the vehicle detection signal is connected to the ground induction infrared interface. When a vehicle arrives, the barrier gate is activated by swiping a card, and it closes automatically when the vehicle passes. The vehicle detection loop does not automatically raise the barrier gate when a vehicle approaches. However, if the supplier's product lacks a ground induction infrared interface, or if the interface is damaged, or if the new vehicle detector and the ground induction infrared interface are not compatible, they connect the two sets of signals from the vehicle detector to the barrier gate's open and close ports. This still ensures that the barrier gate closes automatically when the vehicle passes, and it prevents the barrier gate from lowering when the vehicle is parked. The only drawback is that the barrier gate may open when the vehicle is pressed against the ground induction loop. Another situation is that there may be an issue with the barrier gate control board or the card swipe main board, primarily determined by how the现场 lines are connected.
