The residential gate system is a specialized equipment for controlling the entry and exit of motor vehicles on roads, now widely used at highway toll stations, parking lots, residential complexes, and corporate entrances for vehicle management. Electric gates can be operated independently via remote control to raise or lower the barrier arm, or can be activated through a parking management system (i.e., an IC card system) for automatic operation. The vehicle passes through the ground sensor loop, which transmits an inductive signal to the vehicle detector. The vehicle detector then announces signals from two relays: one for the entry into the ground sensor loop and one for the exit, each with normally open and normally closed signals. Additionally, the barrier gate typically has a ground sensor infrared input interface. Normally, the vehicle detection signal is connected to the ground sensor infrared interface. When a vehicle arrives, the barrier gate is unlocked with a card swipe, and it automatically closes when the vehicle passes. If the vehicle touches the ground sensor loop, it does not automatically raise the gate. However, if the supplier's product lacks a ground sensor infrared interface, or if the interface is damaged, or if the new vehicle detector and ground sensor infrared interface do not match, they connect the two signals of the vehicle detector to the barrier gate's open and close ports. This also ensures the gate closes automatically as the vehicle passes, preventing it from lowering when no vehicle is present, but the drawback is that the gate will open if the vehicle is pressed against the ground sensor loop. Another scenario is an issue with the barrier gate control board or the card swipe main board, which can be determined by observing how the现场 lines are connected.
