A Cold Drawn or Hot Rolled High-Precision Steel Tube, the Honed Cylinder Tube is characterized by its non-oxidized inner and outer walls, high-pressure resistance without leakage, high precision, high brightness, non-deformation during cold bending, and no cracks upon expansion or flattening. It is primarily used in the production of pneumatic or hydraulic components such as cylinders, which can be seamless tubes. The chemical composition of the Honed Tube includes Carbon (C), Silicon (Si), Manganese (Mn), Sulfur (S), Phosphorus (P), and Chromium (Cr).
The cylinder tube is processed by rolling, which leaves surface residual compressive stress on the surface layer. This aids in sealing minor surface cracks and prevents the expansion of erosion. Consequently, it enhances the surface anti-corrosion capability and delays the formation or expansion of fatigue cracks, thereby improving the fatigue strength of the honed tube. Through rolling forming, a cold working hardening layer is formed on the rolling surface, reducing the elasticity and plastic deformation of the mating surfaces, thus improving the wear resistance of the honed tube's inner wall and avoiding burns caused by grinding. After rolling, the reduction in surface roughness values improves the fit properties.
