PET plastic boasts excellent comprehensive properties and is widely used in various fields. It is primarily used for flame-retardant components in the electronics and electrical field.
Advantages of PET Plastic
Excellent heat resistance: The heat deflection temperature and long-term use temperature are high among thermoplastic engineering plastics. Reinforced PET can be immersed in a 250℃ welding bath for 10 seconds without significant deformation or discoloration, making it particularly suitable for manufacturing welding electronic and electrical components.

Excellent mechanical properties: bending strength of 200MPa, modulus of elasticity of 4000MPa, good resistance to creep and fatigue, high surface hardness, mechanical properties similar to thermosetting plastics.
High cost-performance: PET resin and reinforced PET are cost-effective engineering plastics due to the ethylene glycol used in PET production being nearly half the price of the butylene glycol used in PBT production.

Applications of PET Plastic in the Electronic Appliance Industry
Modified PET plastic is widely used in the electronics and electrical field. It can be used to manufacture connectors, coil winding tubes, integrated circuit enclosures, capacitor enclosures, transformer enclosures, TV accessories, tuners, switches, timer enclosures, automatic fuses, motor brackets, and relays.
