The 2BV vacuum pump is suitable for extracting gases and steam, with an ultimate suction pressure of up to 33 mbar (97% vacuum). When transformer oil is used as the working fluid (referred to as an oil ring vacuum pump), the ultimate suction pressure can reach 6.7 mbar (99.3% vacuum), fully replacing reciprocating vacuum pumps. When the liquid ring vacuum pump operates at long-term under near-ultimate vacuum conditions, a cavitation protection pipe should be connected to protect the pump and eliminate cavitation noise. As a compressor, its maximum pressure is up to 0.26 MPa (absolute pressure). When used as a compressor, an increase in exhaust pressure will cause the 2BV pump to consume more power. Please specify the exhaust pressure when ordering to select the appropriate motor power.
