






The weir gate is mainly composed of an electric drive unit, connecting rods, a cone gear reducer, a base, a screw, a weir gate body (copper alloy sealed) cover, and other components.
Electromagnetic weir gates ≥1800 use dual-hoist vertical lifting.
1. Primary Structure
(1) The door frame is made of high-quality cast iron, fully cast, with built-in guide slots on both sides, which are precision machined to serve as the sliding tracks for the door's opening and closing.
The door body is a square flat plate made of high-quality cast iron, with "#" shaped reinforcing ribs on the facing side, with rib spacing ranging from 250 to 350mm. The door body surface is precision machined. The precision machining on both sides of the door body fits with the side slots of the door frame, forming the upper and lower sliding tracks. The weir plate has sufficient strength to withstand water pressure, and the door panel升降is flexible. The lifting lugs are cast integrally with the door body, and the pin bushing holes of the lifting lugs are machined on a boring machine.
(2) The sealed seat is made of copper alloy (thickness not less than 8mm), and all fasteners used for installation are made of stainless steel 0Cr19Ni9 (304).
(3) Wedges: To achieve the water-sealing effect of the weir gate, wedges are set on both sides of the weir gate, which are made of cast iron.
The screw design meets the requirements for weir gate lifting, featuring sufficient strength and stability with no bending or deformation. The screw is made of 420 stainless steel round bar with trapezoidal threads, achieving a precision of 7e grade. The thread length is 200mm longer than the gate travel height. When the weir gate is in the closed position, the thread extends 50mm beyond the opening and closing machine.
(5) The double-point electric drive unit is connected to both ends of the cone gear reducer (located on the hoist base) through a drive shaft, which synchronously drives the two screws to lift and lower the weir gate. The motor speed does not exceed 1500 r/min, with a power supply of 380V, 50Hz, 3-phase. The protection grade is IP65. The drive unit is equipped with internationally renowned brand products such as AUMA, Rotork, and SIPOS, with sufficient lubrication and features a stroke control switch and an over-torque protection device. The control unit of the electric drive unit is integrated with the mechanical structure.
The regulating weir gate features on-site opening indication, and simultaneously outputs a 4~20mA signal to the PLC. It also receives the PLC's automatic control function for the weir gate opening.
2. Working Principle
The weir gate is driven by a closing machine to rotate the locking nut, which, under the action of trapezoidal threads, moves the screw to operate the weir gate up and down, thereby adjusting or clearing water flow.
Structural Features
This gate consists of components such as the door frame, gate plate, guide rail, sealing strips, and adjustable sealing mechanism. It features a simple structure, good sealing properties, strong wear resistance, easy operation, convenient installation, long service life, a full range of products, and wide adaptability.
