38DL PLUSThis is a high-end ultrasonic thickness gauge. The instrument can detect internal corrosion in components using dual crystal probes. Its features include THRU-COAT® (penetrating coating) and echo-to-echo. It also offers very reliable thickness measurements for thin materials, extremely thick materials, and multi-layer materials using single crystal probes.

The 38DL PLUS thickness gauge represents a new era in ultrasonic thickness measurement technology. This portable thickness gauge is suitable for nearly all ultrasonic thickness applications and is fully compatible with all dual-element and single-element probes. The feature-rich 38DL PLUS gauge is applicable for various uses, including measuring wall thinning of piping components with internal wall corrosion using dual-element probes, as well as for extremely reliable wall thickness measurements on thin-walled or multi-layer materials using single-element probes.
The standard configuration of the 38DL PLUS comes equipped with a range of powerful and user-friendly measurement features, along with some software options for specific applications. Its sealed housing design meets IP67 rating requirements, making it resistant to extremely humid or dusty harsh environmental conditions. The color transreflective VGA display ensures excellent visibility on the thickness gauge's screen, whether in bright sunlight or complete darkness. The keypad is both simple and ergonomic, allowing operators to easily access all functions with either hand.
