The UNS No. 6625 alloy features the following properties:
Exceptional corrosion resistance to a wide range of corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
2. Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and no stress corrosion cracking due to chlorides.
3. Resistance to corrosion by inorganic acids, such as phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and mixtures of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids.
4. Corrosion resistance to various mixtures of inorganic acids.
At 40℃ temperatures, it exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in solutions of hydrochloric acid at various concentrations.
6. Excellent machinability and weldability, no post-weld cracking sensitivity.
7. Certification for manufacturing pressure vessels with wall temperatures ranging from -196°C to 450°C.
8. Certified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) to meet standard grade VII for use in acidic gas environments (MR-01-75).
