Characteristics of 253MA stainless steel bars:
253MA is a nickel-saving, heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel designed for applications requiring high creep strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Developed from alloy 1.4828, 253MA features increased nitrogen content and is microalloyed with rare earth elements, offering excellent oxidation resistance, resistance to high-temperature corrosion, and high mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. Its operating temperature range is 850~1100°C; however, if used between 600 and 850°C, structural changes may lead to reduced impact toughness at room temperature.
