F55 (S32760, 1.4501) is a high-alloyed super duplex stainless steel, primarily used in various highly corrosive environments. The F55 duplex steel boasts strong strength and corrosion resistance, mainly applied in chemical processing, petrochemical industries, and subsea equipment. It exhibits excellent resistance to chloride corrosion, high thermal conductivity, and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Its high content of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen contributes to its remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and other forms of corrosion. The F55 (S32760, 1.4501) duplex steel's superior comprehensive properties outperform those of standard duplex steels like 2205 and S31803.
