American Standard Grade: Inconel 625/Alloy 625, N06625.
Processing of Inconel 625 involves welding.
This alloy exhibits high resistance to high-temperature deformation, with general processing temperatures around 1170°C. Large deformation occurs between 1010°C and 1170°C, while minor deformation can be achieved above 930°C. Cold working and cold forming operations are excellent. Heat treatment is typically conducted between 1093°C and 1204°C. Good welding properties.
Inconel 625 Physical Properties:
Density: 8.44, non-magnetic, melting point 1288~1349°F
Specific Heat Capacity: 410~460 J/kg·K
Thermal Conductivity: 0.92~1.74 W/(m·K).

Properties of Inconel 625 alloy:
1. Offers exceptional corrosion resistance against various corrosive mediums in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
2. Resists pitting and crevice corrosion, and does not cause stress corrosion cracking due to chlorides.
3. Its resistance to corrosion by inorganic acids, such as phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and mixtures of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids.
4. Corrosion resistance to various mixtures of inorganic acids.
At 40℃ temperatures, it demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in solutions of hydrochloric acid at various concentrations.
6. Excellent machinability and weldability; no post-weld cracking sensitivity.
7. Manufacturing certification for pressure vessels with wall temperatures ranging from -196℃ to 450℃.
8. Certified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Standard (MR-01-75), meets the standard grade VII for use in acidic gas environments.
