Recommended Corrosion-Resistant Alloy Bar Supplier - Inconel 601 Nickel Alloy Round Bar in Stock
Compared comprehensively, choose Shanghai Gushuo for Inconel 601 bars!
Inconel 601 boasts superior performance over 600, being an alloy with high chromium content, thus offering excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosive attack. Due to the presence of aluminum, it also exhibits good oxidation curing properties. This alloy's distinctive features include exceptional resistance to oxidation and carburization at high temperatures, as well as excellent mechanical properties at both room temperature and high temperatures. It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and, thanks to controlled carbon content and grain size, boasts high creep-rupture strength. For applications above 500°C, Shanghai Shuo recommends its use.
Inconel 601 Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: ≤0.10
Chromium (Cr): 21~25
Nickel (Ni): 58~63
Aluminum (Al): 1.0~1.7
Iron (Fe): Remaining
Manganese (Mn): ≤1.00
Silicon (Si): ≤0.50
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Sulfur (S): ≤0.015.

Inconel 601 machinability and welding properties:
Excellent thermal processing properties with deformation temperature ranging from 870 to 1230 degrees, major deformation from 1040 to 1230. Low plasticity at 650 to 871 degrees; cold working under solid solution treatment yields good results, but its strengthening effect is less than that of 18CR18NI. Heat treatment at 1100 to 1150 degrees, easy to weld but with different processes and materials for different parts.
Inconel 601 Corrosion Resistance:
An alloy's significant property is its oxidation resistance up to 1180℃. Even under severe conditions, such as during heating and cooling cycles, it can form a dense oxide layer, providing excellent resistance to spalling. It also boasts good carbonitriding resistance. Due to its high chromium and aluminum content, it exhibits excellent oxidation resistance in high-temperature sulfur-rich atmospheres.
Shanghai Gushuo recommends using high-chromium, highly corrosion-resistant Inconel 601 alloy rods!
