Product Introduction

Main Stem Pruning Update: Young trees are primarily pruned for a single main stem. For one-year-old jujube trees, prune at 30 cm above the ground to induce lateral branching. Select robust, well-positioned, and four to five lateral branches facing outward to serve as the main stem. Remove small buds before they reach 1.5 meters in height.
Long shoot pruning: After fruit harvest, leave the old main branches 1-1.5 meters long, and saw off the rest except for those used as supports. New lateral branches can grow after 30 days. Cut the lateral branches at 50 cm long to promote the growth of new small branches. The flowers can develop in the leaf axils of these small branches, which can accelerate early fruiting. However, this pruning method requires ensuring that the new main branches grow robust small branches in the right position; otherwise, the branches may be too small or lack nutrition, leading to poor fruiting rate and fruit quality, and the main trunk may age prematurely. It is recommended not to use or use sparingly.
Pruning: After the trunk is updated and pruned, the plant's branches grow vigorously. Before the peak flowering season, the main branches should be appropriately pruned to promote branching. However, it is necessary to avoid canopy crossing. Excessive dense branches can be cut before blooming, and the tips of branches too low or close to the ground should also be removed after fruiting. Maintaining good ventilation and sufficient light in the orchard is essential for abundant yields.
