In recent years, it has been widely promoted and planted across the country, becoming a characteristic industry for rural prosperity and the development of profitable agriculture. Introduced to Xiakeng County, Jiangxi Province in the 1990s, the Xiakeng Loquat of Xiakeng County is now the Dongkui Loquat base in Jiangxi Province.
