Formal oil pine is a deciduous shrub species with a round or umbrella-shaped crown, reaching no more than fifteen meters in height, appearing rather straight and elegant. The wood has a deep color and can be used to extract dyes. Its leaves are round or ovate, leathery, alternate, with a楔-shaped base, pinnately deeply lobed, and vibrant in color. As the bark of the tree can be extracted to make tannin and the branches and trunks are used for furniture production, the price of formal oil pine has been on the rise.
Growth Habit
The formative oil pine does not like light and only requires a small amount of sunlight during its growth period. It is a shade tree species that prefers a warm and dry growing environment, suitable for growth in shaded areas. The trees are relatively drought-tolerant but not flood-tolerant, so they cannot grow in waterlogged soil and must be planted in well-drained areas.
