The shaped black pine is a shrub species with numerous roots and stems. Its leaves are lanceolate or round, entire, with fine down on the upper surface, measuring 5-10cm in length, heart-shaped at the base, and the branches are dense. The trunk of the tree is relatively straight and the wood grain is attractive, making it suitable for furniture or craftwork, with high practical value. As a result, the price of shaped black pine continues to rise.
Growth Habit
Trees prefer sunlight, thus are best planted on high, well-lit, and wind-protected ground. They are also not very cold-resistant, so proper winter protection is necessary to ensure healthy growth of seedlings in the following spring. Due to their aversion to poor soil conditions, plant them in loamy, fertile soil with good moisture content, and avoid acidic soil with high pH levels. Moreover, Laiwu shaped black pine is drought-tolerant and dislikes excessive moisture, so do not water the plants excessively.
