Factory supplying 0.3mm-60mm 440C high hardness, wear-resistant G10 stainless steel balls
Application Fields:440C stainless steel balls are commonly used in industries that demand high precision and corrosion resistance, such as aviation, aerospace, bearings, motors, high-precision instruments, valves, and oil.
Features:Microstructure belongs to Martensitic steel, with high production process requirements; domestically, stainless steel can be produced.440C is less commonly used, so manufacturers capable of producing 440C material are often hailed as producers of special stainless steel. The heat treatment process is complex, prone to cracking, and requires high precision; it is one of the harder stainless steel balls, with a hardness close to ball bearings but boasting superior corrosion and rust resistance.
Compare:Compared to 440 stainless steel balls, these have enhanced rust and corrosion resistance, increased hardness, and improved wear resistance as well.

Magnetic
All Austenitic stainless steel balls are typically non-magnetic; after cold working, some magnetism may be noticeable. Standards: ISO 3506, GB/T 3098.6. The characteristics of various materials' magnetization abilities, applicable to stainless steel as well. Only in a vacuum state can the material be completely non-magnetic. The measurement of the magnetic permeability of the material in a magnetic field is relative to the material's magnetic permeability μr in a vacuum. If μr is close to 1, the material has low magnetic permeability.
In everyday life, we often encounterUsing a magnet to determine if a material is stainless steel is actually a very incorrect method of judgment.。
Stainless steel is categorized intoAustenitic stainless steel and Martensitic stainless steel201, 304, 316, and 316L are Austenitic stainless steels, which are non-magnetic; 420, 440, and 440C represent Martensitic stainless steels, commonly known as "rustproof iron" in our country. The reason it's called "rustproof iron" is due to its magnetic properties. However, not all magnetic corrosion resistance is poor, let alone that all magnetic materials are iron. 440 and 440C are top-performers among stainless steels, known as special steel. They offer excellent corrosion resistance and high hardness, making them stainless steel bearing steels, widely used in high-precision manufacturing industries.
Therefore, we cannot simply judge whether it is stainless steel based on whether a magnet sticks to it or not. So 440 Stainless Steel BallsOf course, it's made of stainless steel, and it's high-quality stainless steel, too.

We address and clarify your concerns and questions one by one:
How to choose steel balls?
(1). If you're looking for high hardness and wear resistance, opt for the bearing steel ball with wear resistance, followed by the carbon steel ball that has been heat treated.
(2). For welding, if you need a low-hardness, unheated carbon steel ball, commonly known as an iron ball.
(3). For superior rust prevention, opt for stainless steel balls, available in grades 304, 316, and 316L, with increasing rust prevention efficacy.
(4) For excellent rust resistance and high hardness, opt for 440 stainless steel balls.
(5) For higher precision, choose a higher grade. The smaller the number, the higher the grade, and the better the precision.
If the above doesn't answer your questions, and you're still unsure about the type of steel ball you need, feel free to contact our customer service. Clearly explain your application, and our professional staff will provide you with a detailed solution to ensure your satisfaction!
2. Quality Assurance

(2). Production Equipment Assurance: Introduction of production equipment and testing instruments.
(3). Technical Staff Support: Over a decade of technicians staff rotating 24/7 production oversight and control.
(4). Strict and scientific production management system constraints: Rigorous management, adherence to production regulations, and traceable accountability in reverse.
(5). A sealed and clean dust-free workshop: Ensures high-precision production of precision steel balls.
3. Shipping Information
(1). Samples shipped via SF Express: A limited number of samples are available free of charge, with shipping charges to be paid by the recipient.
(2) For shipments under 300 kg, choose Express Delivery, Best Express, Deppon Logistics, JiaYi Logistics, ShangQiao Logistics, and similar couriers.
(3) For orders over 300 kg, we use dedicated logistics for shipping. Generally, customers pick up from the city logistics center. If pickup at the county/district level is required, please specify; additional delivery fees apply.
4. Packaging
We offer various packaging options including woven bags, cardboard boxes, pallets, iron drums, bottled, and ton bags, and can customize packaging to meet customer requirements.
5. Where to dispatch the goods
Our factory is located in the countryside, where logistics and express delivery are not convenient. Therefore, we rent a large warehouse in the large logistics park in Liaocheng city to store goods and ship them to our customers.
6. Returns and Exchanges
If it's our responsibility and the quality doesn't meet the standards, we cover the round-trip shipping costs for returns and exchanges. If it's the buyer's responsibility, returns and exchanges are possible as long as it doesn't affect resale, with the buyer covering the shipping costs both ways.
