I. Project Overview
On September 14, 2022, our company was entrusted to conduct a safety assessment of an office building in Wanggang Town, Ying Shang County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province.
II. Building Overview
The office building was constructed in 1982, featuring a brick and concrete structure with 3 floors above ground. The total floor area is approximately 1,255.8 square meters, with a rectangular layout. The main facade faces south, featuring a flat roof, with circular beams but no structural columns, and a solid staircase. The floors are precast, and the building has a history of renovations and expansions (an additional three floors were added in the 1990s).
III. Purpose and Content of the Appraisal
Purpose of this assessment: Understand the current safety performance of the building's main structure.
The structural assessment of this office building covers the following:
Based on the "Civil Building Reliability Assessment Standard" (GB50292-2015), on-site inspections and checks are conducted for the three components of the building foundation, upper load-bearing structure, and protective system. A safety assessment of the current condition of the building is made through comprehensive analysis.
