Boiler exhaust silencers are manufactured based on the micro-perforated plate noise reduction principle. The steam emission from power plant boilers typically has high velocity, which significantly affects the noise reduction of small holes. Therefore, we first control the flow, and then the steam enters the expansion chamber after the first flow control, where it is further pressure-reduced and noise-reduced. After the steam undergoes a large volume pressure reduction, it forms low-pressure steam that is ejected. During this process, the airflow is ejected through small holes. After ejection, the sound power across various frequency bands has been reduced, and the sound pressure level frequencies are pushed up to above 20,000Hz, greatly diminishing the noise. However, secondary noise at certain frequencies still requires further reduction. We install a resistive sound-absorbing cotton structure outside the expansion chamber, which is designed based on the spectrum characteristics of the remaining noise emitted by the pressure-reducing body to effectively absorb the residual noise. After the user installs it as required, the total noise reduction should reach 30-60 decibels, meeting the required standards.
