Boiler exhaust mufflers are manufactured based on the micro-perforated plate noise reduction principle. Power plant boiler steam emissions typically have high velocities, which significantly impact the noise reduction of small holes. Therefore, we first control the flow, and then the steam that has been controlled flows into the expansion chamber to further reduce pressure and noise. After the steam is depressurized in a large volume, it forms low-pressure steam that is ejected. During this process, the gas flows out through small orifices. After ejection, the sound power in each frequency band is reduced, and the sound pressure level frequency is pushed up to above 20,000 Hz, greatly reducing the noise. However, secondary noise at certain frequencies still requires further noise reduction. We add a resistive absorbent cotton structure outside the expansion chamber, which is designed based on the frequency spectrum characteristics of the remaining noise emitted by the depressurizing body to effectively absorb the residual noise. After the user installs it according to specifications, the total noise reduction should reach 30-60 decibels to meet the requirements.
