Vinyl acetate fibres are used in industrial applications to produce canvas, waterproof fabrics, filter cloths, conveyor belts, packaging materials, workwear, fishing nets, and ropes for marine operations. High-strength, high-modulus filaments can be used as the structural material for conveyor belts, as lining materials for various hoses, tapes, and rubber shoes, and also for making bicycle tire cord.
