Square tubes, as the name implies, are tubular shapes with a square cross-section. Many materials can be formed into square tube shapes, and their use and application vary. Most square tubes are made of steel pipes, which are unpacked, leveled, curled, and welded into round tubes, then rolled into square tubes and cut to the required length. Typically, there are 50 tubes per package, with larger sizes being more common in stock, ranging from 10*10*0.8-1.5 to 500*500*10-25. Square tubes are categorized by their use, such as structural square tubes, decorative square tubes, construction square tubes, and mechanical square tubes, among others. Square tubes are a type of square-shaped steel tube with equal sides, which are formed by rolling steel strips through a process.
Galvanized square tubes are hollow square steel pipes with square cross-sections, made by cold bending and high-frequency welding from hot-rolled or cold-rolled galvanized steel strips or galvanized coil sheets, or by hot-dip galvanizing processing on pre-bent cold-formed hollow steel pipes. These tubes are categorized into hot-dip galvanized and cold-dip galvanized square tubes based on their production processes. The differences in the galvanizing methods result in many distinct physical and chemical properties. Overall, they exhibit significant differences in strength, toughness, and mechanical properties.
