With the Mantianling Tunnel as the research background, this paper provides a detailed analysis of the key points for the application of self-advancing anchor bolt technology in shallow-buried sections, focusing on construction methods and techniques. The rational application of self-advancing anchor bolt technology in tunnel engineering resulted in no rock slide during construction, with the self-advancing anchors providing excellent support and ensuring the stability of primary support.
