Overview and Applications
The traveling scraper mud cleaner is suitable for the horizontal flow sedimentation tanks in wastewater treatment plants. Its main function is to scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the tank into the sludge collection trough for sludge recycling or concentration and dewatering, and to skim the floating debris into the grit collection bin if any (if there is floating debris), then discharge it out of the tank through the grit hopper for further processing. The operation is a continuous running and scraping process.
Model Features

Features
The working bridge is designed with a truss structure, offering simplicity, aesthetics, and lightness.

2. Simple and convenient maintenance, with low operational costs.
3. Various Transmission Reducers Available: Axle-mounted, with a simple and compact structure for easy maintenance; with cycloidal pinwheel reducers, offering cost-effective solutions with high transmission efficiency.
4. Available in materials such as steel (standard), engineering rubber, nylon, or polyurethane, the walking wheel tread surfaces can be selected based on customer requirements.
5. Electrical components are all outdoor-type, safe and reliable, featuring both random and remote control capabilities. Transmission equipment can be customized according to customer requirements, with options including cable hangers (standard configuration), jumper wires, and cable drums, etc.
6. Equipment can be custom-made to fit specific user dimensions. Parts in contact with water can be made of stainless steel.

Structure and Working Process
The traveling scraper dredger is composed of main components such as the working bridge, winch mechanism, scraper girder, scraper plate, drive unit, and electrical control box, as well as accessories like the outlet triangular weir plate and scum scraper (whether provided to be negotiated by both parties). The traveling scraper dredger is as shown in Figure 1.
The walking scraper dredger is supported by four points and crosses the flat-flow sedimentation pond with a walking beam. It features dual drive and steel tracks are laid on both sides of the pond (tracks are not required if using engineering rubber, nylon, or polyurethane wheels, but four-point guide wheels must be added). The scraper runs along the pool deck tracks from one end to the other. During operation, the scraper blades collect sludge and sand into the sludge channel. If equipped with a float渣 scraper, it also collects float渣 into the渣斗. On the return trip, the scraper arm truss and blades are lifted off the pool bottom by the winch mechanism, while the渣 scraper is raised from the water surface by an electric push rod, completing a cycle and returning the scraper to the starting position. The reciprocating movement is controlled by the end-of-travel switches. The operating and stopping time is controlled by a timer relay based on the sludge volume.
The technical specifications of the walking drag scraper are listed in Table 1, and the construction conditions of the equipment are illustrated in Figure 2.
