Disposable protective shoe covers are designed to protect the legs and feet of medical staff, epidemic prevention and control personnel, from potential infectious contaminants (blood, body fluids, secretions, excreta, vomit, etc.) in a protective boot-like cover.
1. One-time shoe covers should have good waterproof properties and be used once.
2. Foot covers should be worn when entering the contaminated area from a potential contamination zone and from the buffer room to the negative pressure ward.
3. Wear disposable shoe covers within designated areas. Remove them promptly upon leaving the area, and replace them immediately if any damage is found.
