How well do you know about staff chairs??
What are the shortcomings in the overall development of the employee chair industry? Our domestic industry has developed for a considerable time now. Although there are some well-known brands and a plethora of designs and styles emerging, there are still many issues in the overall market development. For instance, there are problems with the sales channels. In the past, everyone thought that once the chair was produced, customers would visit and then purchase the chair. We have always adhered to this outdated mindset, without seeking clients or having a vision for client acquisition. As a result, many companies claim that their chairs are of high quality, but in reality, sales are not going smoothly. Let's introduce some other issues in this industry.
The issue with employee chairs in the office furniture industry is that while many companies claim they can design and produce high-end chairs, in reality, many are just doing OEM work, i.e., adding high-end chairs for others. However, I haven't established my own brand, constantly working for others, which is an unfavorable situation. Sometimes, you have no choice but to dine by others' favor. The third potential issue is the abundance of low-cost competitors in the market. While some companies claim to have mastered certain technologies, many engage in large-scale low-cost sales during production, with lax quality control, causing customers to feel uneasy when purchasing.Chairs priced at 300 or 400 yuan may look similar in style, but some are of high quality while others are very poor. Therefore, the market is still quite chaotic.
Another issue the employee chair industry faces is the lack of design capabilities. While many companies are striving to develop, their in-house designs are often commendable, there are still many cases of plagiarism within the industry. This has led to a negative situation where many Fuzhou office furniture companies feel that their own designs will be copied anyway, so they no longer invest in design. Instead, they copy others' works, leading to a vicious cycle of mutual plagiarism, which results in a lack of creativity.
