Harmonic Gear Operation Principle
Harmonic gear transmission is a new type of transmission mechanism that relies on elastic deformation to achieve motion. It breaks through the traditional mode of mechanical transmission using rigid components by employing a flexible component for mechanical transmission, thereby obtaining a series of special functions that are difficult to achieve with other types of transmission.
Advantages:
1. High reduction ratio (single-stage harmonic drive reduction ratio ranges from 50 to 300, double-stage ratio from 3000 to 60000, and multi-stage ratio from 100 to 140000).
2. High return accuracy (due to a large number of meshing teeth and low sliding speed of the tooth surface, resulting in high load-bearing capacity, smooth transmission, high precision, and low noise).
3. Low backlash (tooth side clearance can be adjusted for zero side clearance transmission)
4. The structure is simple, with approximately 50% fewer parts than traditional ordinary reducers, and both volume and weight are reduced by over 1/3.
5. High transmission efficiency (not affected by large gear ratios); smaller rotational inertia can be achieved when using electromagnetic or disc-type wave generators.
6. Transfer motion and power to sealed spaces using a sealed flexible disk harmonic drive reduction unit, capable of driving mechanisms operating in high vacuum, corrosive, and other harmful environments.

Application Scenarios

Installation Matters
During installation, emphasize the alignment of the transmission center. When connecting the output and input shafts to the power and matching machinery, the shafts must be aligned precisely with each other; any misalignment will significantly reduce the gear box's service life.
2. During installation, hammering is not permitted. Typically, use fixture clamps or press into place using the screw holes, as improper installation may cause an uneven sound and potentially lead to premature damage to internal parts.
3. Recheck and verify the screws prior to startup to ensure all fasteners are securely installed.
4. During operation, the machine should initially rotate smoothly at a low speed without vibration, noise, or oil leakage, which indicates normal operation.
Safety matters
Do not check the tightness of screws while in operation to prevent personal injury.
Do not touch with your hands while in operation to prevent hand cuts.
3. Perform maintenance checks only after the machine has come to a complete stop.
4. After prolonged operation, to avoid burns from excessive heat, wait approximately 10 minutes before touching the equipment after shutdown.
