Sintered colored sand is a product made from mineral granules (gravel) by adding inorganic pigments and special coatings, then prepared through high-temperature sintering. The process of making sintered colored sand consists of four steps: stirring, preheating, calcining, and cooling. The distinctive feature is that in the preheating and calcining steps, hot air from a heat furnace is used to preheat and calcine the stirred materials inside the preheating and calcining drums.
Product Applications:
Color sintered sand has been applied in various decorative fields such as genuine stone paint, flooring, colored metal tile granules, interior anti-slip color granules, waterproof membranes, bicycle tracks, aquarium decorative sand, foundation sand, sand painting crafts, and children's entertainment sand.
Sintered colored product material:
Lithostone coloring, quartz sand coloring, glass sand coloring, glass microbead coloring, texture pearl sand coloring, cobblestone coloring, etc.
Production Process:
Select 8-160 mesh clean quartz sand (with strictly controlled moisture content) 90-98 parts, inorganic pigments 1-8 parts, enamel frit sintering aid 1-2 parts; mix and grind the inorganic pigments 1-8 parts and sintering aid 1-2 parts to form a fine powder with uniform particle size, then mix the quartz sand 90-98 parts evenly, sinter at high temperature, sintering temperature 350-900°C, sintering time: 10-15 minutes, to obtain colored enamel sintered sand.
