5. The hoist's electrical control system is simple, easy to operate and maintain, and reliable. During normal operation, the hoist can be remotely controlled from the control panel, allowing for immediate stopping at any desired parking position. At the upper and lower terminal stations, the upper and lower terminal limit switches control automatic stopping. If the upper and lower terminal limit switches fail due to a fault, the emergency stop switches on the hoist can promptly cut off power to engage the brakes.
