


Daylily Seedlings: The daylily is a plant of the genus Iris in the family Iridaceae, a perennial wetland or emergent rhizomatous herb. The plant is tall with short, thick rhizomes. The flower spike is slightly taller than the leaves, with the upper part of the drooping petals ovoid, nearly equal in width at the base, with brown spots or none, and the standard petal pale yellow, with a flower diameter of 8 cm. The capsule is elongated, containing many seeds, which are brown and angular. Flowering period is from May to June.
